Convert workout data to GPX file

You can copy your workout data to third-party apps using Epson View’s GPX export function and the third-party app’s import function.

GPX: GPX is a file format for handling location information. You can exchange the location information between apps that support GPX files.

Procedure

  1. 1.Click [Convert workout data to GPX file] on the [Manage Data] screen.

  1. 3.Search for Workouts.

  1. 4.Select the workouts you want to export, and then click the [Export] button.
  2. You can select/release all workouts by selecting/clearing (1).
    You can select/release individual workouts by selecting each check box in (2).

Import the GPX file to other company’s apps

The exported file is zipped. Unzip the file before importing it into another company’s app. The following explains the operation method (for Windows 10).

  1. 1.Click “Extract”.
  2. 2.Select “Extract All…”. “Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders” screen is displayed.

  1. 4.Import the GPX files with the other companies’ app.

  • Other companies’ applications may display values calculated based on data copied from Epson View. In this case, the values displayed in Epson View and those displayed in other companies’ applications may differ depending on the calculation method in the other companies’ applications and the processing method of fractions.
  • 1 If a timeout error occurs, reduce the number of workouts and try again.
  • 2 You cannot export workouts that do not contain location information to a GPX file.
