Configure your wrist device settings from a PC

Set your wrist device on the USB clip charger, and attach the other USB connector to the PC. (This displays Epson View Uploader.)

Right-click on the icon, and click on “Display Icon.”

Click on the icon.

Click on “Configure Wrist Device.”

Activity Amount Settings

Click on “Activity Amount Settings” on the top tab.

  1. ① Activity Amount Display Screen Settings
    Displays the activity amount screen that is displayed when you press the UP button on your wrist device.
    (From the top, it displays the screens shown every time you press the UP button.)
    Use the “Edit” button on the top right to add, delete, or change the order of the screens.
  2. ② Activity Meter Settings
    Configure your sleep settings, heart rate zone notifications, and heart rate monitoring settings.

  1. (i) Sleep Settings
    Setting your rough sleep time and wake-up time enables it to assess your quality of sleep more accurately.
  2. (ii) Heart Rate Zone Notifications
    Select your target heart rate zone, turn on/off notifications for when you go outside of the upper/lower limit of your selected zone, and your preferred notification method (sound or vibration).
  3. (iii) Heart Rate Monitoring Settings
    Advanced: Measures your heart rate every second.
    Normal: When resting, the heart rate monitoring functionality puts itself into energy-saving mode.
    *When in Normal mode, it does not record data about your sleep or mind balance.

Important

After changing a setting, make sure to go back to the screen shown on the left, and click on “Write to Wrist Device.”

Watch Screen Settings

Configure your watch screen settings.

  1. ① Select the watch screen.
  2. ② Select the data items to be displayed for the amount of activity (number of steps, distance, calories, and heart rate).
    *Digital 1 only

General Settings

■ Heart Rate Zone Information

Customize your maximum heart rate, resting heart rate, and configure settings for each zone.

■ Date and Time

Configure how to display the date and time.

■ Language and Units

Configure the language and units to be displayed.

■ Screen Display/Others

Background color: Select from Black/White.

  • Auto-sleep: Configure it to go into sleep mode automatically after being in a resting state for a period of time.
  • Button press sounds: Turn button press sounds ON/OFF.
  • Activate Light Settings:
    • Wrist Turn: Turns the light on when you move your wrist to look at your watch.
    • Button Press: Turns the light on when any button is pressed.
    • Workout: Keeps the light on during a workout. (Even if it is set to OFF, it lights up when Wrist Turn or Button Press is set to ON.)
    • Notifications: Turns the light on when you have a smartphone notification.
  • Auto-search: Measure your GPS position periodically even when you are not measuring your workouts. This reduces the time taken to take a GPS measurement when required.

■ Smartphone Notifications

Configure your smartphone notifications, such as when you receive a phone call or e-mail, or to inform you of calendar alerts or social network notifications.

■ Wake-up Alarm

Configure up to five alarms.
Configure the time, day of the week, wake-up phase time (*), alarm type, etc.

(*) Wake-up phase time: Makes the alarm go off when you enter a light sleep phase within the time period specified before the alarm time.

For example, if you set the alarm time to 6:00, and you set the wake-up phase time to 30 minutes, the alarm will go off between 5:30 and 6:00, when your wrist device determines that you are getting into a light sleep.
