My watch will not pair with my smartphone. What should I do?

Check the surrounding radio environment.
- Place watch and smartphone within 1 meter.
- Keep a distance from equipment that emits radio waves, such as microwave ovens and Wi-Fi routers.
- Keep a distance from facilities that use high voltage such as high bridge, iron tower etc.
■ Is watch capable of pairing?
- Make sure that the watch is ready for pairing.
For each model, you can check the operation method to put it in a pairable state on the smartphone.
■ Did you correctly enter the 6-digit number displayed on the watch? (SF series only)
Enter the 6 digit number displayed on the watch correctly.
If you do not see the screen for entering numbers, please check the notification area at the top of the smartphone.
- Depending on the smartphone, a screen for entering 6-digit numbers is displayed in the notification area and it is not displayed on the front.
- There is a smartphone asking for confirmation of pairing before entering 6 digit number. In that case, it is necessary to display “notification screen for confirmation” and “screen for entering 6-digit number” from the notification area.
■ Have you paired with another smartphone?
If you have paired your watch with another smartphone, please check the following.
Your smartphone:
- Unpair the watch from your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings.
When another smartphone is on hand:
- Unpair from Epson View on another smartphone.
- Unpair from another smartphone’s Bluetooth settings.
Still when it does not solve …
There is a possibility of improvement with one of the following.
- Confirm that the version of the application is latest, and if it is old, update it to latest.
- Turn off smartphone Bluetooth once and turn it on again.
- Turn off the smartphone and restart it.
- Remove the application from the smartphone once, reinstall it, then try the connection again.
